Marriage Counseling is the Fertilizer that Keeps the Relationship's ...

I marriage is like a rose. What you see on the outside is a beautiful flower made up of delicate petals that can be easily harmed by pelting rain or hail, but the roots are strong and resilient and able to save the whole plant with the proper nourishment and care.

Many people see their marriage wilting away and give up too soon, but marriage counseling in Orlandoif applied properly can act as the Miracle Grow of the relationship. With some tender love and care, marriages can survive some of the most powerful and threatening storms of life.

Recently I was talking to a woman who is a strong advocate of getting outside help when things within your relationship start going wrong. Her story was absolutely amazing to me.

Her husband had multiple affairs during the earlier years of their marriage, but you looking at them now you would never guess that such a thing had happened.

Even when he had been unfaithful, she knew that she still loved him and that deep down inside he was a good man with some unmet emotional needs. Rather than giving up on the relationship like many women would, she stuck by her husband and helped him work through the issues he was having.

Obviously I wouldn?t want anyone to have to go through the horrible trial of knowing that a spouse has broken sacred marriage vows, but in their case the fact that they have been able to make it through such a huge and difficult trial has made their relationship stronger and brought them closer together.

As this woman told me her story I thought about how I would feel and how I would probably react if I had been in her shoes. In all honesty, I couldn?t even fathom the pain and betrayal that she experienced.

I think I would have a complete break down emotionally, but in the long run I?m not sure what actions I would take. I admire the confidence and strength that this loyal wife displayed in her commitment to her husband.

Certainly if there is any raging storm that could rip apart the delicate petals of marriage?s beautiful flower, this woman has experienced it.

She has also demonstrated the fact that with the nourishment and care of marriage counseling in Orlando the resilient roots of a marriage can bring the whole plant back to it?s complete strength and beauty.
