Paul Meegan has confirmed that he will return to his former employer, Epic Games, after having quit his post as LucasArts president earlier this year.
Meegan originally joined Epic in 2006 to establish Epic China over a four-year period, before serving as president of LucasArts for two years.
Meegan rejoins Epic as vice president of product development, the developer confirmed today, working with Epic's executive team on "all of our latest projects".
"I'm really happy to be back in the Epic family and working with some of the best developers in the industry," said Meegan.
Epic boss Mike Capps said, "Paul's been a friend of the Epic family for years, and we're delighted to have him join the team."
This comes just weeks after Lucasfilm and its subsidiaries, including LucasArts, were acquired by Disney for over $4 billion.
