The Disney Store at the Laguna Hills Mall recently closed. "Over the next several years, Disney Store will continue to strategically realign our retail portfolio, and focus on strengthening our position in today's competitive retail environment," said Shawn Turner, public relations manager for Disney Store North America. "We have a great relationship with Disney, and the closing of the store is part of our plan to re-merchandise the center," said Julia McGavran with Curator, a public relations agency that handles communications for Simon, which owns Laguna Hills Mall.
